About
One of the largest urban regional parks in the United States at over 8,000 acres, preserving natural open space in the heart of San Diego. The park's volunteer program runs three monthly crews: a Habitat Restoration Crew (2nd Saturday), a Kumeyaay Lake Campground Crew (3rd Saturday), and a Park Beautification Crew (4th Saturday). Work includes native plant restoration, invasive species removal, trail maintenance, and habitat protection. Free to join — no experience required.
