A nationally accredited land trust working since 2000 to acquire, manage, and protect land that supports sensitive habitats and species. U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service With over 30 preserve properties throughout San Diego County, SDHC offers members of the public the opportunity to learn and gain experience in habitat conservation. Sdclimateweek Volunteer work includes mapping and tracking sensitive species, implementing adaptive management, working with state and federal wildlife agencies, and removing invasive species across hundreds of acres of natural open space dedicated for conservation in perpetuity.
